At-Home Activities for Littles

Here are some great ideas to keep little ones entertained and engaged at home. From simple indoor games to creative outdoor adventures, these activities make it easy to spark imagination, burn energy, and enjoy quality time together—no special prep required.

Activities that don't require supplies

Nature scavenger hunt
find leaves, rocks, sticks, etc.


Act like an animal
crawl like a bear, hop like a frog, slither like a snake


Freeze dance
play music, pause it randomly, and freeze!


Shadow play
make shapes, chase shadows outside


Obstacle course
use furniture, pillows, or just spaces to jump/climb


Storytime with actions
read and act out the story as you go

balloon + spatulas/spoons
